Farnham

AntennaGerman-born punchcutter Johann Fleischman, contemporary of Baskerville and Fournier, worked at the Enschede Foundry in Haarlem. Max Miedinger

Max Miedinger urodził się w 1910 r. w Zurychu w Szwajcarii, zmarł zaś tamże w 1980 r.
 
Gdy ukończył 16 lat, za radą ojca w latach 1926-30 szkolił się na zecera w wydawnictwie Jacquesa Bollmanna w Zurychu, później zaś uczęszczał na zajęcia wieczorowe na zurychskiej Kunstgewerbeschule (uczelni sztuk pięknych i rzemiosła). W latach 1930-36, czyli w trakcie studiów i niedługo po nich, pracował jako zecer dla różnych firm.
